The following notice was shared with the Georgia Dental Association by the Georgia Board of Dentistry.

Notice: Extension of Renewal Deadline to February 6, 2026

Due to widespread technical difficulties experienced during the renewal period for Dentists and Dental Hygienists, the Georgia Board of Dentistry has extended the deadline for timely renewal of any license to practice dentistry or dental hygiene. This deadline has been extended to February 6, 2026. During this time, all licensees with an “Active” license status shall be authorized to practice lawfully, despite their license displaying an expiration date of December 31, 2025. This authorization shall expire on February 6, 2026, unless extended by further decision of the Georgia Board of Dentistry.
